Marguerite Sands, MA, Waldorf Teaching Certification, while investigating the field of art education, came to understand education itself as an art. Following intense immersion in Waldorf philosophy and methodologies, seeking to unlock the jewels of wisdom held there, Marguerite took part in the inaugural Enki Teacher Training program (as both faculty and student), was one of the founding teachers at the Shambhala Elementary School in Halifax, and served as lead teacher for the first eight years of the school. She remains passionately convinced of the value of such insight informing curriculum at the elementary level.
